By partnering with other community agencies, organizations and businesses, the Lancaster County Council of the Arts helps enrich educational, religious, economic and cultural development in Lancaster County and surrounding areas. Affiliate membership in the LCCA promotes public awareness of individual businesses, clubs, and organizations and strengthens ties within the community. Both the Frances Ley Springs Gallery in Springs Memorial Hospital and the Founders and Wachovia Galleries in the Springs House present art exhibitions throughout the year. All exhibits are free and open to the public during business hours. Public receptions are held for each exhibit at the Springs House. Each September and October the Marian Hagins Memorial Art Competition is held at the Springs House. This exhibit and competition is open to all Lancaster County artists. Visit the Springs House Gift Gallery for a wonderful variety of items made by local artists. The Springs House is open 9:00 to 5:00 Monday to Thursday and 9:00 to 12:00 on Friday.
